Great place to hike and camp overnight. The only downside is lack of facilities like public toilet etc.
This trail is less stressful than trail 3. For the first 2 km hike is okay and even kids can do it. After that it becomes steep and only serious hikers and those fit enough should attempt it.
It saddened my heart to see that people have started spoiling this track too by leaving shoppers, wrappers etc
Though it's one of the favorite trails of many islooiets but it needs serious maintenance there are patches which have been tore out. There is only one spot on the track where one can feed benches to sit and relax which should be increased.
